Built-in Hob

Your apartment is fitted with a Beko Built-in Ceramic Glass Hob that is covered by a 2-year manufacturer’s warranty.

Please ensure the spur switch is in the on position before use, this will be labelled on the wall next to the hob. If the hob is still not working, please check to make sure that the consumer unit has not tripped. All switches should be in the upward position.

Tips about Glass Ceramic Hobs:

> Glass ceramic surface is heat proof and is not affected by big temperature differences.

> Use only the saucepans and pans with machines bottoms as sharp edges create scratches on the surface.

> Do not use aluminium vessels and saucepans as aluminium damages the glass ceramic surface.

> Spillages may damage the glass ceramic surface and could potentially cause a fire.

> Do not use vessels with concave or convex bottoms.

> Use only the saucepans and pans with flat bottoms, this will ensure heat is transferred easily. If the diameter of the saucepan is too small, energy will be wasted.

Please note: It is not recommended to use the hob as an additional work space, a place of storage or cutting board whilst not in use. Using the hob for anything but its intended purpose could cause damages and/or scratches to the surface of the hob which would not be covered under warranty.

Washer-Dryer

Your property is fitted with a Beko Washer-Dryer which is covered by a 2-year manufacturer’s warranty.

What should I do if my washer dryer is not working?

Please ensure the spur switch is on and the consumer unit has not tripped. All switches should be in the upward position. If these switches have not tripped please ensure that the correct programme setting has been selected, the machine has not been overloaded preventing the door from closing properly or that the child lock has not been activated.

How do I reset my washing machine?

In order to reset your washing machine please ensure all filters are clear and there is no water in the machine. You can drain the washing machine from the bottom behind the plinth which clips off easily. Press the START button for 3 seconds (with the power on), this will reset the machine back to factory settings.

Why does my washing machine have an unpleasant odour?

This is a common issue with all washing machines. Please ensure you carry out a maintenance wash every 6 months to get rid of build-up of detergents. Run a 90°C cotton wash with no laundry in the machine using the normal amount of detergent. If this does not work, run the hottest cycle three times with no detergent to clean the system through.

Where can I find the serial number and model number on my BEKO washing machine?

You can find the model and serial number for your BEKO washing machine on the silver “rating plate” which can be found on the internal rim when opening the door.

It is your responsibility to ensure that the filter in your washer dryer is regularly checked and kept clean.
